Hourly Rate Charging

As an alternative to our fixed fee packages why not "pay as you go" and receive a monthly bill, together with time printout clearly setting out the work carried out on your behalf and our charges for legal work.

Our Family Law Consultants ("lawyers") hourly rate is from £330.00 per hour (being £275.00 + VAT).

When calculating our charges for legal work done, each hour is broken down into 10 units, each unit being 6 minutes long.

Examples of items which are likely to be 1 unit:

Letters written or received taking up to 1 page.

Telephone calls made or received lasting 6 minutes or less.

Emails sent or received.

Examples of items which are likely to be more than 1 unit:

Long letters written or received (will be charged at 1 unit per page).

Long telephone calls made or received (will be charged at 1 unit per every 6 minutes).

Time spent with you for example during meetings or at Court (will be charged at 1 unit per every 6 minutes) e.g. if you have an appointment with one of our Family Law Solicitors lasting 36 minutes, you will be charged for 6 units of work.
